Quality News Coverage

Reading through a basic fluff piece on high-def music at News.com, I ran across the following humorous quote:

Yet iPods and other digital music players can't provide the ultimate listening experience, says Mazer. Digital players are fine for travel or for working out, he says, but for serious listening at home he prefers big stereo sound systems.

Emphesis is mine. Now the humor in this is really really hidden. The "he" in this quote is an Elliot Mazer, a guy who has made his living in the recording and audio industry. G. Sandoval though presents this little bold tidbit as some hidden secret unknown to the world. Get real man, Mazer is an individual who has spent several hundred thousands (if not millions) of dollars on high end stereo equipment. Not only that, he's in an article talking about the benefits of high quality stereo equipment, and the introduction of his own company.

Fluff.

G.S. come on, don't write to us as if we're twelve year olds waiting to be spoon fed.
